Bride reveals how she went from 'skinny-fat' to super lean in just 16 WEEKS to be in the 'best shape of her life' for her dream wedding
A newlywed has revealed how she went from being 'skinny-fat' to lean and toned in just 16 weeks ahead of her wedding day.
Sarah Wong, 38, slimmed from a size 10-12 to a toned size 8 by cutting out snacks, changing her diet and committing to regular workout sessions - and lost almost 2st in the process.
Sarah, a digital programme director, from London, also noticed a change in how she felt, and found no longer struggled with feeling bloated or lethargic after following the programme.
Speaking to EMAIL, she said she felt in the 'best shape of her life' when she put on her wedding gown before tying the knot with husband Alexander.
'I'm Chinese and love Asian cuisine - noodles, roast pork, roast duck,' she said. 'Essentially, I ate whatever I craved at the time, and I felt quite bloated after most meals.
'I became much more mindful of what I was eating and started to make better food choices.'
Sarah soon noticed a difference in her cravings, which went from lusting after quick sugar hits, resulting in energy crashes, to wanting slow-releasing foods.

'As well as changing what I ate, I also changed the number of
meals I had each day, the time of day I was eating and cut out the snacks between
meals,' she added.
And she soon reaped the benefits of her diet choices, boasting
clearer skin and feeling less drained.
'I just felt amazing,' she continued. 'My skin cleared, I was
visibly less "puffy" and felt much more energetic and confident. I was
very surprised at how quickly I started to feel different.'
Sarah's diet wasn't the only thing that got a makeover. She
committed to regular training sessions three times a week - even if it meant
cutting back on social outings.

Enlisting the help of a personal trainer, she soon realised the
sacrifices were worth it for the results.
She said: 'The training was tough, and I must be honest - going to
the gym after work on a Friday when my friends were out drinking was difficult
at first.
'But I felt stronger with each session and really started to look
forward to the training- and the results were motivation enough. I've even
learnt how my body responds to different types of exercise and food.'

And her intensive four month regime paid off when she slipped her
toned size 8 figure into her ivory wedding dress.
She added: 'I have never achieved anything close to the
results I had over the last few months. Now I look toned, fit and healthy - it
is truly the best shape I've ever been in and I never thought I'd ever see my
abs.
'I felt absolutely amazing on the day. My transformation gave me
so much confidence, the wedding dress fitted me perfectly and everything came
together exactly as I had hoped - I wouldn't change a thing.'
